carved these spaces into the marrow of some ancient being's skeletal remains. the laboratories grew organically, like mushrooms in the hollows of a dead god. white-coated figures move through their chambers with methodical purpose, unaware or uncaring that their sterile workspaces nest within something that was once alive. or perhaps still is. the spiral staircase reminded me of dna helixes, of how life coils and uncoils within the confines of cellular walls. wanted to capture that moment when scientific precision meets biological decay - like finding a perfectly preserved laboratory in the ribcage of a whale at the bottom of the ocean.
