standing in that museum hall, watching the fog roll in like a living thing, i couldn't help but think of liminal spaces - those in-between moments where reality gets a bit thin. the institutional lighting cast strange shadows through the mist, transforming the sterile gallery into something more ethereal, more dangerous. my thoughts drifted to the work of james turrell, how he played with light and space to create portals to other worlds. this was my homage to that transcendent feeling, but with an edge of cosmic horror lurking in the shadows.
